Jane Clark has focused her practice on handling medical malpractice cases for more than 30 years. She is licensed to practice law in Washington and Oregon. Jane obtained a Bachelor’s degree in law from Leicester University, England and completed her legal training at the College of Law in Chester, England. She spent the first 10 years of her legal career working as a lawyer in the UK, representing injured people in medical malpractice and personal injury cases.

In 1997, Jane relocated her practice to the USA and, for a number of years, represented insurance companies and doctors in medical negligence lawsuits. This experience on the “defense side” led to her achieving an in-depth understanding of defense strategies and the tactics they employ in medical malpractice cases, which she now uses to benefit her clients when bringing cases against doctors and hospitals.

For the last 15 years, Jane’s practice has focused only on representing Plaintiffs in medical malpractice cases. She has handled hundreds of medical malpractice cases during the course of her career. She is an experienced trial lawyer and a skilled negotiator, having achieved substantial out-of-court settlements for many of her clients.

In 1998 and 1999, Jane was named as a “Rising Star” by the Washington Law and Politics Magazine. In 2017, she received the Trial Lawyer of the Year Award from the Clark County Bar Association, and in 2020 and 2021, she was selected for the Washington “Super Lawyer” list.

Jane has previously served on the Pro Bono committee for the Washington State Bar Association, as an adjunct professor at Portland State University teaching Psychology and the Law, as President of the Clark County Bar Association, and has chaired the Continuing Legal Education Committee for the Clark County Bar Association for more than 10 years.

Outside of the office, Jane enjoys travel, camping, theater, and spending time with her family and dogs.  Jane is the owner of a local theater company and is also a Girl Scout Troop leader.
